I love Kamloops and B.C. I have been married to my best friend, Kathleen (school trustee in School District 73) for more than 20 years. We are proud parents of three great kids. I started Aberdeen Chiropractic Clinic from scratch in 2003 and I'm a charter member of Aurora Rotary club.
I graduated from Kamloops Senior Secondary in 1987 and University College of the Cariboo (B.Sc. UBC 1994). In my master’s studies at Simon Fraser University from 1995 to 1998, I focused on forestry, planning and dispute resolution. In 1999, I headed to Toronto where I graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic 2003.
I am a past VP of the Cariboo Student Society ( and started the Independence Centre). In 2017, my idea of bringing the RCMP Musical Ride to Kamloops was achieved with the Rotary and community group effort.
I believe in accountability, transparency and fiscal responsibility. I hope to see more of this when elected. I believe some of my strengths are my ability to work well with others, seeing the big picture and having an open mind.
I think some pressing issues for Kamloops are strategic and focused economic development, healthy living, reducing flood and fire risks and housing. These are all areas I want to address as a city councilor.
I think Kamloops has so many assets in our people and resources. I know we can achieve a healthy, active and prosperous community that will make Kamloops a desired place to live, work and play for many generations to come. I welcome your vote and thank you for your consideration.
